Introduction

In 2017 Udi Shaulov, Administrative Director of the Hadassah hospitals, summed up our work in a letter: between 2003 and 2016 we carried out "a wide range of complex projects" at Hadassah Ein Kerem and Hadassah Mount Scopus, including earthworks, shoring and building foundations, development works and the construction of infrastructure.

A hospital does not close for building works. So every job we did at Hadassah was coordinated with the hospital's management and security staff, and carried out around its day-to-day operations.

At the inpatient tower, Phase 1 (2008), we carried out shoring, excavation, rock cutting and recycling of approx. 200,000 m³. A mandatory condition signed into the contract: work in 24-hour shifts, 6 days a week, and completion within 6 months. In Phase 2 (2011–2013) we carried out the development works for Shikun & Binui – Solel Boneh, the building's main contractor.

What this says about us

One campus, seven clients. At Hadassah we were engaged by the Hadassah Medical Organization itself and by six different main contractors: A. Arenson, Minrav, Shapir, Ashtrom Jerusalem, Shikun & Binui – Solel Boneh and Electra. Each of them contracted us for a different part of the work.

Every layer. Within the same hospital we carried out demolition, excavation and rock cutting, shoring, retaining walls and slope stabilisation, sewage, drainage and water, paving and development. That is six of our seven service areas.

Inside a live site. 13 years of work in a hospital that never closed, in coordination with its management and security.
