Underground infrastructure: water, sewage and drainage

Water, sewage and drainage lines, and the electrical and lighting infrastructure alongside them. At Hadassah Ein Kerem we laid approx. 2.5 km of steel water mains up to 12″ diameter (2013–2014), inside a working hospital.

What we do

We lay, replace and divert lines in open ground, in city streets and inside sites that keep operating.

Between 2011 and 2014 we rehabilitated the main water supply system at Hadassah Ein Kerem: a perimeter ring main, reconnection of the emergency reservoirs and a pressure-reducing station. We diverted 8″, 10″ and 12″ steel lines, sleeved existing pipework and built underground crossings. After laying, we restored the landscape, including planting trees and returning protected wild plants. On the same campus we built the main sewage and drainage lines that connected the new inpatient tower.

In Jerusalem we built underground infrastructure for the rail corridor at the northern portal of the Blue Line, for Moriah. On Route 437 we carried out horizontal drilling and culverts. On Route 4711 we laid water lines and drainage pipes and drilled horizontally through rock, and in Elad we built sewage, drainage, electrical, lighting and low-voltage lines.
