Excavation and shoring

Pits for underground car parks and buildings, in soil and rock, in the city centre and inside live sites. We deliver the excavation, the rock cutting and the shoring system as a single package.

What we do

A deep excavation in the city sits next to an existing building, a road or a utility line. We build the pit and its support system together, from the top level down to the formation.

At Hadassah Ein Kerem we carried out shoring, excavation, rock cutting and recycling of approx. 200,000 m³ for the inpatient tower (Phase 1, 2008), inside a working hospital and in 24-hour shifts, 6 days a week — a mandatory condition signed into the contract. In 2008 we carried out Phase 1 of the tower there for Ashtrom Jerusalem: demolition of an existing building, excavation and rock cutting, and rock cutting for the foundations. Between 2006 and 2008 we also excavated and shored there for the car park, the Ispro Center and the biotechnology laboratory park. At Givat Ram (2007–2009) we shored the excavation for the Hebrew University's School of Engineering, and in Talpiot (2008) we built the site stabilisation system for the Kadouri complex, a commercial building over an underground car park. At Rafa Laboratories in Har Hotzvim (2010) we built strengthening walls, retaining walls and a stabilisation system around the excavation. For Shikun & Binui – Solel Boneh we carried out excavation and rock cutting for the State Comptroller's building, approx. 46,000 m³ (2012–2013).

At the Shalva Center in Bayit Vegan (2009–2013) we built one of the projects with the most complex shoring systems in Israel — a shoring wall almost 40 m high. At the Eden compound on Eliash Street we excavated, cut and recycled more than 90,000 m³, and at Heichal Shlomo on King George Street 80,000 m³, all of it taken to Sanhedria HaMurchevet.

In recent years: the Pierre Koenig underground car park for Shikun & Binui – Solel Boneh, and the shoring system at Mekorot's Ein Kerem station.
