Soil and slope stabilisation

Retaining walls, anchored walls, shotcrete and capping beams that hold a slope, a rock face or a road. At Mekorot's Ein Kerem station we applied 2,224 m² of shotcrete.

What we do

Excavating in a slope or beside a road opens a face that has to be held, temporarily or permanently. We build the stabilisation system together with the excavation, with the same crew and on the same programme.

The Shalva Center in Bayit Vegan (2009–2013) is one of the projects with the most complex shoring systems built in Israel — a shoring wall almost 40 m high. We built anchored walls and strengthening walls there, stabilised slopes and installed a system that monitors the load on the retaining wall. At Mekorot's Ein Kerem station (2017–2019) we built a shoring and wall-support system, reinforced concrete walls, 2,224 m² of shotcrete and 362 m³ of capping beams. At Hadassah Ein Kerem we built a system of retaining walls beside the inpatient tower and stabilised the slopes. At Sanhedria HaMurchevet we carried out ground stabilisation, a fill embankment reinforced with membranes, retaining walls and landscape walls, and on Route 437, retaining walls along the road. At the Jerusalem Light Rail depot (2019) we strengthened the foundation of an existing retaining wall with 77 rock bolts and a sprayed concrete wall. At Givat Ram and at the Binyanei HaUma railway station we stabilised slopes as part of the excavation works (2006–2009).
